HYDRANGEAS, FIGS AND LEMONS by Elizabeth Blaylock

I painted this oil  from a still life I set up.    I was glad I photographed it on the first day 
because those brown turkey figs lose their luscious colors very quickly.   They were huge and delicious by the way.  
Painting all the beautiful colors in the white areas is always a fun challenge.  

It's wonderful to have color in this world...what would your rainbows be without it.
